Artist's Comments

Sorry for those watching but apparently DA hates PNGs.
And view full for true effect.

:iconmattty: snagged my 1002nd pageview, so he got to request a puyo art, and here you go, its Pulseman and some other character. I'm not too familiar with Pulseman (Thought it was a megaman boss when it was mentioned.) Oh yeah, Matt jokingly challenged me to due the pose from the end... so I did.
too many layers to count as my computer despite being pretty high spec, cannot handle over 100 layers.

Makes me wonder what would happen had Sega kept Game Freak on as a 1.5 developer. Pokemon on the Game Gear 2? It's just the character designs (particulay the girl) are so obviosuly theirs. Not that that's a bad thing.

That looks like it took an insane amount of work, nice one!

...Wow. That is insane.

Insanely awesome, that is. And it was only semi-jokingly challenged.... but still, you did it, and so quickly! Niiiice.
As for the other character... that's Beatrice, Pulseman's assistant/AI/girlfriend. "Be carefuls!"

Also Gagaman: what could have been....

Pokemon on the Game Gear Advance would be amazing. And yeah, I got that familiar vibe when I was looking at artwork on some pulseman fansite.

The single hardest part about this project was just getting the sprites without the background. At one point I almost did the BG too, but then this image would be nearly impossible to view full in its true glory.
Also, I'm getting really good at lining up Puyos quickly, so the work is getting pretty minimal.

I actually got the 1000th (honest to god truth, I have a screenshot of it)... but I was so startled, I didn't know what to ask for. This was a much better use of the reward than anything I could have come up with. ^^;

Can you do something Zelda-related? I'm not really sure what's practical to ask for... ?
